Free Crochet Pattern Easy Elegant Boot Cuffs

I have posted a brand new free crochet pattern on my "free patterns" page! It's a pattern for an easy set of boot cuffs that can be made today and worn tonight. My two girls put their two cents in regarding design details and functionality, and we think they work well.You can let just the ribbing peek out, or the ribbing and part of the designed stitch pattern. Two looks in one. :-)

Elegant Boot Cuffs {Crochet}

This free pattern makes an elegant pair of crochet boot cuffs!! Have them finished in an afternoon and wear them that evening! Wonderful for gift giving. Make them in many colors to match your outfits!

Supplies:

Worsted Weight Yarn (Yarn pictured is Red Heart Soft)

Size I Crochet Hook

Tapestry Needle

Abbreviations:

Ch: chain

St: stitch

Sl: slip

Sp: space

Dc: double crochet

2dc: work 2 double crochet stitches in next stitch

Sc: single crochet

BLO: back loop only

Boot Cuffs

Chain 12.

Row 1: Sc in 2^ndchain from hook, *sc in next chain; repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn. (11 sts)

Row 2-30: (working in BLO) *Sc in next st; repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn. (11 sts)

Fold piece in half, with short ends together. Slip stitch the ends together to close.

NOTE: You will begin working in rounds from this point on.

Round 31: Ch 1 and turn piece right side out so that the seam is on the inside. Work 30 sc stitches evenly around edge of cuff. Join to first st. (30 sts)

Round 32-35: Ch 2. 2dc in same st, sk 1 st, *2dc in next st, sk 1 st; repeat from * around. Join. Slip stitch in next st, slip stitch in next space. (15 dc groups)

Round 36-37: Ch 1. Sc in same st, *sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join.

Fasten off.
