Free Crochet Pattern Flower Blossom Headband

I've been adding to my Free Crochet & Knitting Patterns page, and plan to add many more over the coming weeks! One of the latest additions to my Free Patterns page is a Flower Blossom Headband. It's perfect for girls and ladies of any age, and make a gorgeous little photo prop. Quick and easy too!

Flower Blossom Headband {Crochet}: Free Pattern

A perfectly simple little flower blossom headband that can be worn by girls and ladies of any age! Makes a gorgeous photography prop, and is suitable for everyday cuteness!

Sizes:  Customizable to whatever size you’d like.

Supplies:

Worsted Weight Yarn (Loops & Threads Cotton Club Pictured)

(Optional) Mohair/Silk Blend Lace Weight Yarn (Rowan Kidsilk Haze Pictured)

Size H Crochet Hook

Size F crochet hook

Tapestry Needle

Abbreviations:

Ch: chain

St: stitch

Sl: slip

Dc: double crochet

Sc: single crochet

Flower Headband

With H crochet hook, and holding the worsted weight yarn and the Kidsilk Haze together, chain 2.

Round 1: 10 sc in 2nd chain from hook. Join with sl st.

Round 2: Ch 1. Sc in same st, ch 2, *skip next st, sc in next st, ch 2; repeat from * around. Sl st in first ch 2 loop.

Round 3: Ch 2. 3dc in same ch 2 loop, sl st in same ch 2 loop, *sl st in next ch 2 loop, ch 2, 3dc in same ch 2 loop, sl st in same ch 2 loop; repeat from * around. Join to first st.

Fasten off.

With size F crochet hook, and holding a double strand of Kidsilk Haze (I work with the 2 ends from the same ball; one from the middle and one from the outside.)

Make a chain that is approximately 16” long, or your desired length.

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Weave the chain through one side of the center of the flower, and back out the other side of the center of the flower. Enjoy!!
